Every project involves overcoming knowledge barriers. In some cases, communication barriers are also added. You have a great idea, but without the know-how and expert assistance, transforming it into a viable product may be beyond your capabilities.

What We Achieved Together:

We transformed a noble idea into a viable product.

We helped the client overcome the technological barrier of the solution.

The journey from idea to MVP (minimum viable product) took only 6 months.

We continuously manage product iterations and expansion.

The DCM project

The DCM project (DCM = in Czech "Dělám co můžu") – originated as an idea from three great people during the first wave of the coronavirus pandemic in the spring of 2020. It provided free psychological consultations to frontline workers and the public, who were facing concerns about health and livelihood, stress, loneliness, and many other worries.

During these DCM activities, they realized that the Czech psychotherapeutic market is very old-fashioned. We prepared and moderated a workshop to harness the great potential inherent in modernizing psychotherapy. From the workshop emerged a great idea: the online catalog Terapie.cz with therapist profiles, where clients can search for and choose the right one for their needs.

Therapists and Developers Find Common Ground

Our collaboration was originally intended to end there. However, a few months later, we decided to check in on the DCM association's progress with the project. The discussion revealed that they lacked a partner who could translate their requirements into specifications for developers.

Thus began our work on Terapie.cz in a big way. Our contribution was important on two levels. First, we selected a technology partner capable of implementing the entire idea. Second was the specification of the online therapist platform and its functionalities.

Thanks to a "lean" approach, the portal was officially launched just 6 months after the initial idea.

Quick Launch

From the outset, we opted for a "lean" approach – launching the Terapie.cz portal as quickly as possible to allow people to test it. We then added new functionalities gradually. Thanks to this, the portal was officially launched just 6 months after the initial idea. Therapists themselves write to us that the portal works and brings them new clients.

Intensive work on the project continues. We are adding therapist training, a B2B program for companies, a paid version of the portal, and other requested features. Ambitious goals lie ahead: a virtual assistant, chat therapy... Currently, our catalog includes over 130 therapists, and more are being added. Through the portal, help is provided monthly to over a hundred clients, who have hundreds of sessions.

A Matter of the Heart

At the beginning of the project, we were to be those who would take the therapists' requirements and transform them into meaningful specifications for developers. Today, we ensure that the Terapie.cz portal continues to develop and fill the gaps in modern psychotherapy. We entered the project as a partner and invest our own resources, energy, and know-how. It has become a matter close to our hearts because we see a deeper meaning in what it has to offer people.
